Acea de Ama's Tide Mill

Acea de Ama's Tide Mill

The tide mills of Acea de Ama, dated back to the twelfth century, are the oldest of its type in Galicia, even if they have suffered several reforms since its construction.
Nowadays they are fully integrated on the urban fabric of O Burgo, even though they still have every element, and they house exposition halls about the world of mills and a museum dedicated to Andrés Pan Vieiro, mayor of Culleredo in the 20s and property developer of an industrial flour factory, located close to the mills and reimagined as a multi-use building.
