Mandeo River's Ethnographic Centre

Mandeo River's Ethnographic Centre

The Centre of Formation and Interpretation of ethnographic values of Mandeo fulfils, as its name indicates, two functions: formative and informational. The building received an Honour Mention in the Barbara Cappochin International Prize of Architecture in 2013, and the centre counts with interactive museography, since it’s aimed at a young audience. For example, you can find augmented reality facilities that allow visiting a Roman camp.
Among the cultural heritage elements in its surroundings, which their promotion is one of the centre’s objectives, two should be pointed out: the “Sobrado dos Monxes” Monastery and Cidadela’s Roman Camp.

Access

This centre is located besides Teixeiro’s urban area, which is accessed from N-634, which connects with N-VI and A-6.
