In this activity will be carried out a study of the biodiversity that generates the Ría of Ortigueira-Ladrido in its intertidal strip, with the observation of molluscs, gastropods, crustaceans, anemones, birds, algae ... etc.

Ideal route to observe the different types of dunes, adaptations of the dune flora or the inhabitants of the rock.

Different routes are offered by the basin of the Mera river, a river that forms the Ortigueira estuary. Along the different routes we can see bridges, fishermen's refuges, waterfalls and the vegetation and fauna of this ecosystem.

Coming from the fourteenth century, Moeche Castle is a privileged witness of historical events, such as the "Revolta dos Irmandiños", directed against Nuno Freire de Andrade, because of the abuses that, given his status as a feudal lord, he carried out.

This route is ideal to know the heritage associated to the enclave, geological and environmental aspects.

The museum, referent of the region, shares facilities with the library and the municipal archives in the old Monastery of Santo Domingo.
