In this museum the archaeological finds of the ortegano heritage are housed.
It consists of a permanent exhibition showing the archaeological findings of the heritage of the whole region of Ortegal. Virtual tour from the prehistory to the present, of the different inhabitants of the territory. The oldest megalithic chamber of Galicia (4,400 La.C.) stands out, coming from the tomb Necropolis of Forno dos Mouros. It also has the point of interpretation of the protected area Ría de Ortigueira-Ladrido.
