The Ecomuseum is an ensemble formed by old houses of potter families. These groups had housing, workshop, oven, porch and hórreo.
The main objective of the museum is to expose to the public the technology and the traditional way of life of the potters of Buño. Here the visitor is offered a vision of traditional life and the opportunity to live the experience of working in a lathe and making a piece of clay.
Forno do Forte is, then, one of the most emblematic ethnographic groups in the region of Bergantiños.
This set was rehabilitated for museum use in 1999 by the Deputación de A Coruña.
