Noche de las Pepitas

The Night of the Pepitas, Festival of Tourist Interest of Galicia, will be held on the night of Monday, March 18. Since 1903, on the eve of the festive day of San José, the Rondallas de Ferrol meet: stringed musical bands dressed in costumes similar to those of the tunos, who cross the streets of the city, singing the charms of the woman of Ferrol.

The programming of the event is as follows:

5:00 pm.- Institutional ceremony at the Jofre Theatre.

Tributes for the Night of the Pepitas, musical performances and official interventions by the organizers and participants of the event.

6:00 pm.- Rounds through the streets.

Departure from the Rondallas from the Jofre Theatre singing through the routes established by the streets of the city center.

8:00 pm.- Festival of the Nights of Pepitas in the square Amboaxe.

Joint musical performance of the participating Rondallas until 11:00pm.
