This old Hospital of Pilgrims, founded by Fernán López and Aldara González in 1375, houses the present building of the Museum of Terra de Melide. Dated in 1502, as it is read in the inscription of the facade, it conserves coat of arms of who ordered its construction, the Count of Monterrei, Don Sancho de Ulloa y Castro.
Today it is an ethnographic and archaeological museum with interesting pieces ranging from the Neolithic to the twentieth century. There is also a guided visit to the historical center of the town of Melide, offering two options: Day tour or night visit.
